About IFF

IFF is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering opportunities for young people to gain an enhanced worldview by experiencing other cultures and building friendships from around the world.

Through partnerships with foreign student exchange organizations in several countries, IFF is able to offer a multitude of programs for both foreign students traveling to the United States and American students traveling abroad. In order to offer our students only top-quality programs and services, IFF is very selective in its choice of partners, and works only with well-proven organizations following industry standards.

Students coming to the United States learn about American culture, improve their English skills and get a first-hand glimpse of the American dream. From homestay group ESL programs to individual immersion experiences and special tours, IFF offers a variety of US-based programs to serve our students’ needs. For our students destined oversees, our well-established partners in the destination country ensure a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience abroad for each of our students.

IFF follows industry guidelines and standards set forth by the Council on Standards for International Student Education Travel (CSIET), the Federation of International Youth Travel Organizations (FIYTO), and the United States Department of State in implementation of our programs.

IFF was founded in 1998 by Miriam Rheinstein, a long-time educator with over two decades of experience running foreign student exchange programs. Since our founding, IFF has helped thousands of students learn about other cultures and cultivate international friendships.
